Beautiful location, beautiful view

August 2024 - Large house with spacious garden and large terrace. Beautiful location, beautiful view.

Bed linen, towels and bath towels are generously provided. Kitchen was very complete with more than enough plates, cutlery, mugs, glasses, pans etc. Also nice that there are two refrigerators. Pleasant swimming pool with enough sunbeds and some shade (party tent, parasols and some trees). The house has no air conditioning, but it does have thick walls and a good fan in every room. We could manage with that. Good bathrooms, everything neat and clean. Nice, that cooling breeze in the evening.

Really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the owners, Nino and Cesare. And the quality of the cleaning was excellent.

June 2023 - We had a family reunion consisting of 14 people and had a terrific time. The Villa manager, Cesare, could not have been more accommodating and friendly. He even went so far as to volunteer to arrange for a restaurant to open early to handle our family group.

The complimentary bottles of wine weren't a bad touch either.

One of the real happy surprises about this property was the amazing view of San Gimignano directly across the valley.

There were no hidden costs or extras, everything was as advertised.

On a final note, the three story tower makes an excellent platform from which to bomb your relatives with water balloons.

Excellent

May 2023 - we were a party of twelve. The villa was very spacious and unbelievably beautiful. The views were breathtaking. Everywhere you went there was something to see.

All the common areas were very good for socializing and it was big enough to go off on your own when necessary. The verandas and outdoor areas were so beautiful that words don't do them justice. It was a place that has to be seen to be believed.

All bedrooms were spacious and nice funiture. All bathrooms were very modern. LOVED IT !!!

The pictures don't do the villa justice. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The property is really magnificent. Old world charm with modern conveniences. Thanks for the trip of a lifetime. There were absolutely no hidden charges which I really appreciated. The owners even left some complimentary bottles of wine to try.

November 2007 - Villa Tristano Grande was a wonderful villa in a great location.

Our group of 16 was very comfortable and we were within 2 hours of all the places that we wished to travel. Every day we set out on a new adventure either by car or by train - which is about 10 minutes away.

The owners Cesare and Nino were extremely welcoming and were available for questions whenever we had them. They arranged for a cook to prepare 2 dinners and the food was excellent.

There is a huge fireplace that we utilized every night as we all came together to talk about where we had traveled for the day.

I would highly recommend Villa Tristano Grande to large groups.

Summer in Italy is an excellent company to rent from. My questions before we went were answered quickly. I found Summer in Italy to be a great resource for information and I felt if we had questions (we didn't) after we got to our villa the company would be there to help.

August 2006 - All 16 members of our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The size of the rooms was good, especially the bedrooms with a fantastic view across the valley.

The villa is in a good location for easy access to places of interest and the local supermarket sold good produce.

The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They even booked a table at a local restaurant for us on our last night.

Your company offers a very efficient service and all our queries before making the booking were answered promptly. When we next go to Italy on holiday, we will certainly look to book another villa/apartment with you, and would recommend you very highly to our friends.
