June 2014 - Words alone cannot describe or do justice to the beauty and location of Villa Laila A, in Scala, Italy.

This was our first trip to Italy so we weren't too sure what to expect, we certainly weren't disappointed. My husband, 22 year old daughter and I had a week staying at the wonderful apartment in June 2014.

Villa Laila A is large and well maintained and equipped with everything you could ask for, 5 star luxury it's not, but that's its charm. The pool is a welcome break after a long hot day sightseeing.

Stefano our host and caretaker of the property is on site twice a day or only a phone call away if needed. He was extremely polite and keen to ensure our stay was perfect, offering help and advice when needed and also booking a guide for us at Herculaneum. The two housekeeping ladies and groundsman were around a couple of times during the week and whilst they didn't speak English (why should they after all), were happy to try and engage in conversation, which was quite funny.

Right from my initial contact with Summer in Italy to the end of our stay everything was first class and we couldn't fault anything. Would we recommend Villa Laila A, yes definitely, it was holiday heaven (for us anyway).

You are definitely one of the most professional and helpful holiday we have used, your web site is full of useful information and so easy to use.
