March 2024 - Villa La Contessina exceeded our expectations. The villa was actually better than the pictures and the host was superb. The location was fantastic and we felt very secure while there.

Our host was exceptional and very accommodating. All our needs were taken care of in a very friendly, yet professional manner.

Summer In Italy was easy to navigate and very easy to communicate with whenever any questions were raised. Appreciated the quick responses and would definitely use them again when possible.

Lovely accommodation with gorgeous outdoor space and ideal location

October 2023 - Lovely accommodations for our group of 10. The outdoor space was gorgeous and spacious. The location is ideal and just outside the city center. The views from 2 of the bedrooms are breathtaking.

Communication was very easy with the hosts and they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place for a large group.

Lovely and peaceful home centrally located

October 2023 - Highly recommend! Villa La Contessina is a lovely and peaceful home with a large patio and spectacular gardens. It is beautifully furnished and has all the amenities. The villa is safe, private and gated. It is centrally located right behind the Villa Comunale and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the marina.

Anastasia [the owner] and Summer In Italy were very hospitable and responsive.

The chaos of Sorrento and the quiet and peace of the villa. A perfect combination. I did not want to leave.

Anastasia, the owner, could not have been more helpful. The dining room table was beautifully set with a lovely dinner, fresh flowers. Wine, limoncello and liqueur was also provided.

I highly recommend your company to anyone. We felt very secure, you answered our questions, and you were honest. The villa was actually more beautiful in person than the pictures.

Location, location, location!

October 2022 - Location, location, location! This villa is stunning. It’s centrally located in the heart of Sorrento within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the marinas. This truly is an oasis within the heart of the city and we had every amenity we could have wanted. We were even greeted with a welcome dinner, which was much needed after a long day of travel.

The villa easily accommodated eight adults with their own private spaces, and plenty of places for us to hang out together, with the outdoor space as the central gathering place. The property is within a gated area, and was very secure, including our parking spot.

Anastasia [the owner] recommended local places and dishes for us to try, and they all exceeded our expectations. I cannot thank Luca and Anastasia enough for making our stay easy and memorable. I would tell anyone to stay here, and we absolutely be back.

Great for our family gathering

April 2022 - Villa La Contessina was great for our family gathering allowing us plenty of room to spread out and relax to enjoy our stay. The villa is very clean and has a quality fit out throughout.

Anastasia [the owner] arranged a chef service for a beautiful meal with some wine for our arrival. She also provided a good supply of wine for us to select from during our stay (use and pay) which was very convenient.

Summer In Italy service was excellent throughout the process, thank you.

April 2022 - Villa La Contessina is such a beautiful villa in a centrally located area. Centrally located to Sorrento’s shops and restaurants. Easily able to walk into the main piazza’s as well as walking down to the beautiful beaches.

September 2018 - Villa La Contessina is a fabulous villa.

The location could not be better!! Less than 1/2 block to the cliff's edge for a walk down to the sea. Less than a 1/2 block to the heart of old Sorrento where all the charming restaurants and shops are.

Loved having a private bath for each bedroom. The 5th bedroom is an annex a part from the main house. We didn't need it because we only had 5 people total for the entire house. Having the elevator in the house was nice. We were so grateful for the A/C!! Couldn't have lived without it in unseasonably hot weather mid-September!

The view from two of the bedrooms is nice as you can see the sea, but we didn't really use the bedroom patio so we didn't take advantage of that view. The garden and front porch are beautiful to sit out on and enjoy wine and dinner. But bring bug spray. Little mosquitoes are vicious.

The villa is very safe and gated. It is tucked behind gates and shrubs and no one can see it from the street or walking past. On Saturday night we could hear singing and music from a wedding at the restaurant across the street. But all other nights were quiet.

The owner was sweet and very helpful. Her mother made us a full dinner for our first evening's arrival. It was awesome and a special treat.

Very private location and quite a wonderful villa. I recommend and would love to go back here.

August 2018 - The location is unbeatable if you want to reap the benefits of being in the center and extremely close to the beach/sea. The garden is spectacular and the home has all the comforts one would expect.

Anastasia and her mother prepared an exquisite meal for our arrival. This was very thoughtful and made it so easy for our first night to be able to relax and take the guess work out of dining.

Summer In Italy is a very efficient company, we received prompt responses to each and every question we had. They pay attention to detail and I would highly recommend this company.

April 2016 - Villa La Contessina was a terrific retreat for our family of 8 while visiting Sorrento.

The common spaces were large and open, the bedrooms were comfortable and the terrace was lovely. The whole family felt that the Villa gave us privacy within steps of the city center.

I found it very easy to do business with you and would consider using you again.

July 2015 - Villa La Contessina was absolutely perfect. The house is just as beautiful as the pictures on the website depict.

Anastasia, the owner, really made us feel at home and connected us with several people in Sorrento who provided various services (dinner, tours, driver, etc.).

We had 8 people (4 couples) staying in the house and it was a perfect size. We enjoyed drinking wine and talking every night in the garden/terrace sitting area.
