Stunning!
August 2023 - It was absolutely stunning!
The home was comfortable and allowed us to maneuver with ease. The washing machine and air conditioning were critical and made a big difference for our stay personally.
The hike to get to the apartment is challenging but worth it. After the luggage is in and settled, you couldn't ask for more. Just sitting in front and enjoying the view every morning and evening was special. Take advantage of that terrace!
Summer in Italy, you all were great! You were super responsive and everyone on the team provided guidance and advice no matter the question. I would highly recommend your team and property managers.
Travel tips
- If you can do it, I would highly recommend just taking water taxis rather than the bus. Simple and easy and beautiful out in the water. It depends on your time vs. money question.
- La Moressa is a wonderful restaurant but options are limited right where you are unless you venture into the town of Praiano.
- Tutto Per Tutti has most of everything you need. And the owner is a wonderful person who can help you find information.
- If you want to take the SITA bus make sure you have a bus ticket and know where you need to stand.

Fantastic
September 2022 - We had a lovely stay at Villa Giorgia. The view over the marina was excellent and the terrace was lovely and spacious. The air conditioning was very good inside. The kitchen could be better (with more utensils and tall, tumbler glasses). Lots of steps to walk to get to the town and Marina di Praia Beach but fine for us!
Overall we had a fantastic and relaxing stay. Even though there are apartments above you are never overlooked and can barely hear anybody.
Travel tips
- Lots of steps to walk up and down.
- The supermarket closest to Sita bus stop number 8 is cheaper than Tutto Per Tutti.
- Restaurant Che Bontà was very reasonable, good pizza and wine, good price.
- Day trip to Capri on was excellent. Ticket desk located in Marina di Praia Beach, EUR 70 per person but highlight of the holiday!

We had a fantastic stay
July 2019 - We had a fantastic stay. We loved the place, its quiet location, its views, its terrace and look forward to staying there again. Thank you for a lovely week.
No basic refreshments available at the arrival. After walking a long way on a pedestrian only footpath uphill to get there two bottles of water or a jug in the fridge would have been good, or even just a sign saying the tap water is ok to drink would have helped. Also it's pretty standard to have tea and coffee in the kitchen.
Great service from Summer In Italy, and very professional. Thank you.
Travel tips
- Find the beach "The Fjord of Furore" it's only a few kilometers away.
- The local beach bar "Restaurant Il Pirata" is fantastic.
- Praiano in many ways was far more enjoyable than Positano, which is not what is used to be.

Fantastic
July 2018 - Villa Giorgia is a nice apartment with a great view and a wonderful terrace.
There are many steps, so if you want to get fit you've come to the right place.
Very good and informative service from Summer In Italy.
Travel tips
- Parking is very difficult and expensive. Free parking spaces are located quite far from the apartment so you will often need to pay for parking.
- Remember to buy your tickets for the Flavio Gioia bus at the tobacco shops because you cannot purchase them on the bus.

July 2017 - This is a lovely apartment, in a stunning setting, perfectly located - nestled halfway up the tranquil and beautiful hill above Marina di Praia. We considered this the most beautiful part of Praiano, a short, though steep (like everywhere on the Amalfi coast) walk to the beach, bus stop and convenience store.
The apartment is exactly how it looks in the photos, and we enjoyed our time there immensely. The location and outside area however were much more breathtaking than the photos.
We would love to go back and stay in Villa Giorgia again! We had an amazing time.
Summer In Italy were very helpful and friendly to deal with, we would definitely book with them again.
Travel tips
- It takes a little bit of planning as bus tickets must be bought at a shop on the other side of town (about a ten minute walk) so it's good to just buy a load, and there are some steps and a few minutes walk to where a car can meet you - but it is well worth it.
- In our week long stay we enjoyed Praiano and the surrounding area from Positano to Furore beach to Marina di Conca at our ease. After staying here we moved to Ravello for a further 3 nights and this was a great decision so we weren't trying to fit too much in spending long amounts of time on buses.
- We do not recommend taking the path from Praiano to Furore however which is pointed out directly behind the villa - this was quite a dizzying adventure where the path literally crumbled away to nothing down the fjord! Which is a shame, I don't know if we were doing something wrong but we were rescued by two people who had made the same error!
- The only problems with the apartment were the intermittent Internet connection and lack of coffee maker for if you wanted a lie in, though we enjoyed taking our breakfast in the Marina at either of the very good restaurants there. Probably our favourite place to dine in Praiano, along with Il Pirata which is also beautifully set out on the rocks. There were a couple of restaurants rated highly on Tripadvisor (La Strada and one in Montepertuso) where the food was very below average and clearly for tourists though friendly enough. The more unassuming places were better in our experience, though drinks at Le Sirenuse and Palazzo Avino etc were definitely a good idea.
- We took a boat to Positano on our first trip there which was great fun. We got a shuttle bus from Naples to Sorrento as advised in the Summer In Italy info pack but regretted this as we didn't really rate Sorrento and it wasn't very direct. There is a shuttle to Positano from Naples which might make more sense but I think next time we would get a taxi as we did on the way back from Ravello to Naples for about 70 euros.
