Excellent

July 2023 - We had a fantastic time in Villa Franca. The villa is large and spacious. There are few mod cons like dishwasher, DVD etc, but that doesn't matter as most of the time is spent outside.

The view over the Bay of Naples is stunning and we spent many happy hours sitting outside gazing at the view. The owner and his family, who live in the villa next door, are charming and very willing to be of assistance, without being in anyway intrusive. They left us milk, water and fresh fruit and veg on our arrival.

One word of warning: the villa is accessible by a very narrow, very steep track with six hairpin bends. We found it an adventure, but it is not for the faint-hearted or the under-confident driver!

September 2022 - We enjoyed our time at the villa. The only issue was getting to the facilty was very difficult. The lane would only accomodate a very small vehicle and if you have a lot of luggage it might be difficult to carry into the villa.

Once we were situated in, we liked the facility. The owners were very nice and accomodating. We felt they would have become like family if we had a longer stay and got to know them more.

May 2022 - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Franca. The area, scenery and resturants were great. The villa itself was extremly comfortable. The caretaker who lived next door was wonderful, as was her gardens. The driveway from the main road was the only drawback, difficult to navigate.

Also the Resturant/Pizzaria (Franco? in believe)in Schiazzano was wonderful, and the owner is great. The "slow food" resturant in S. Maria was phenominal as well. Both were an easy walk from the villa.
