August 2022 - We had a lovely relaxing stay at Villa Eddy and really enjoyed the huge pool.

The villa and its surroundings are well kept and the shaded dining area was a blessing!

Being invited to make pizzas with Mr Paolo and watch them cook in the real pizza oven was a super bonus!

Would definitely use Summer In Italy again!

Absolutely perfect for our family holiday

July 2022 - Villa Eddy was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. The villa was beautiful, well maintained and comfortable with all the amenities we need. The pool was huge and had plenty of loungers, chairs and a large hammock. The villa was suitably remote to give peace and tranquility yet only a few minutes away from the lovely village of Castellabate with great restaurants and local shops. The views from the property were magnificent with full on sun all day being east-west facing and fantastic sunsets over the Amalfi Coast and Capri visible in the distance. We cannot recommend this property high enough, if you're looking for some luxury and seclusion this is very much for you. Perfetto!

Mr. Paolo and his family [the owners] were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome and we especially enjoyed being invited to join them for a BBQ and pizza evening using the al fresco facilities - even having the chance to put together Neapolitan pizzas ourselves! Giancarlo [the caretaker] was on hand most days to clean around and help with any problems or issues which made our stay the more enjoyable.

The staff at Summer In Italy were brilliant, their communication was excellent and any questions were answered immediately, even at weekend and evenings. The notes and guidance sent before we left explained everything we needed to know, directions, contact details, etc... I thoroughly recommend them and will be in contact again for our next Italian adventure.

Unforgettable experience!

August 2021 - My family and I had a lovely time this summer in Villa Eddy. Everything was great. The house itself was very beautiful and peaceful. All the rooms were well equipped and very clean and tidy.

To add to our great experience, the owner and his family were great hosts and made our stay even more enjoyable. They were very friendly, made us feel right at home, and they were very helpful.

Overall, our summer in Villa Eddy was a one of a kind unforgettable experience!

A memorable stay

August 2019 - We received a very warm welcome from the owner and his family throughout our stay.  A particularly memorable night was spent with the extended family and friends eating home-baked pizzas.  The situation was idyllic though remote and a car is definitely needed.  The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable and the swimming pool was excellent. The historic hill-top town of Castellabate is nearby and offers first class restaurants with wonderful views over the bay.

June 2019 - Back home, I just wanted to say that we were really enjoying our holidays in Villa Eddy. We enjoyed the nice surroundings as well as the friendly people there.

Real non-touristy Italy

June 2018 - A great, relaxed villa up in the hills about one hour south of Salerno - with a fabulous, and generous host. A real taste of non-touristy Italy, and only 10 minutes from some lovely beaches and seaside resort towns.

Fantastic holiday

May 2018 - Our holiday was fantastic!  The views were breathtaking and the people, including the landlord, were very hospitable.  The accommodation is aged but clean and adequate. We had lovely sunny weather.

The service we received from Summerinitaly.com was exceptional and unique in my experience. Our queries were dealt with quickly and effectivley.  The information we received was very comprehensive.
