Great location and hospitality
September 2024 - Santa Maria di Castellabate is a great place to stay. And it was a good time to go, just after the season had finished, but before it started to feel too autumnal.
We loved the location, the size of the room, the hospitality from the host and his colleagues. Outside space was great.
Travel tips
- We used the Conad supermarket on the outskirts of town - open Sunday mornings.
- Fish shop just down the road was good.
- We loved Paestum, Castellabate, Velia.
- We ate at the Arcata restaurant, and Dico and Dica - both good.

April 2023 - We had a wonderful stay in Appartamento Apollonia C.
Both the owner and the staff were both helpful and kind. We were greeted with wine and cheese and were even invited to join the family for lunch on Easter Sunday. The owner cannot do more to make you welcome and to make you feel at home. If you want to experience being with an Italian family then this is the holiday for you.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this apartment. It is right beside a lovely beach and there is a rooftop area where you can relax, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set.
Booking with you was easy and you were most helpful in terms of information about the property and directions to it. The photographs you displayed on the website were accurate and not at all misleading, so there were no unpleasant surprises when we arrived. We would have no hesitation in using your company again. Travel tips
- You do need a car to visit and make the most of the surrounding area.
- We visited Vesuvius, Pompeii, Ravello (a beautiful mountain village, but make sure you have plenty of 2 euro coins for the parking) and the Amalfi Coast.
