Villa Madama is a bright and elegant two-story villa built on the sloping cliff in front of the sea. It sleeps six people. From Villa Madama you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, of Praiano and the coast of Amalfi. Villa Madama is 180 square meters (1940 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two panoramic private terraces, two private gardens, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Praiano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation and the beach. You will find the closest restaurant at 100 meters (330 feet), a grocery store at 150 meters (490 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 120 meters (390 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia della Gavitella) at roughly 700 meters (770 yards) including 350 stairway steps. You will reach Villa Madama from the street level along a 100-meters (330-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 75 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Madama. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot (where a space can be reserved).
You will reach the swimming pool from the first terrace going down a route that includes approximately 28 stairway steps. The pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the greenery. The pool is open from mid-May until mid-October.
You will reach the garden from the first terrace going down a route that includes approximately 16 stairway steps. The garden is 350 square meters (3770 square feet). It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof and by awnings. It is equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea, the Li Galli islands and Praiano.
You will reach the garden from the first terrace going down a route that includes approximately 16 stairway steps. The garden is 130 square meters (1400 square feet). It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola. It is equipped with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the coastline.
The living room is paved with tiles with handmade decoration, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling boasts a cross vault. The furnishings are elegant and bright, and include a sofa, two armchairs and a desk. There is an elegant fireplace, for decorative purposes only. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through an access area. It is equipped with a five-burner induction cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. The kitchen has a small high window.
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet), an iron and an ironing board.
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. It has a single bed (80 cm/32 inches), located on the mezzanine level. The furnishings include a sofa and a desk. The room has a small high window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid red majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a hydromassage shower and a hairdryer.
You will be able to enter the third bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair. There is also a cooking area. The kitchenette can be closed in a cupboard and is equipped with a two-burner electric cooker, an Italian-style coffee-maker and an American-style coffee-maker. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
