Villa Barbi is an elegant two-story villa surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It sleeps ten people. From Villa Barbi you will enjoy a fascinating view of the greenery and of the hills. Villa Barbi is 400 square meters (4300 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 15 km (9.3 miles) from Orvieto, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find a grocery store at 3.5 km (roughly 2.2 miles). You will reach Villa Barbi from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Barbi you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. The parking space is suitable for up to five cars. Please note that access to Villa Barbi is along a 500-meter (1640-foot) country road.
As guests at Villa Barbi you will be able, upon request and for a fee, to take part in:
- horseback riding in the surrounding countryside;
- cooking classes of typical Italian and Umbrian cuisine;
- truffles hunting;
- guided tours of the local winery and the town of Orvieto.
You will also have the opportunity to hire a personal chef for dinners, or have your small wedding/event arranged at the villa (for an extra cost).
The swimming pool is 7 meters (23 feet) large by 13 meters (42 feet) long, 1.7 meters (5.6 feet) deep. The area is equipped with a sun umbrella, sun loungers and an external shower, and it is partly shaded by a pergola. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding vineyards and of the hills. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of October.
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include sofas and armchairs. There is a big and elegant fireplace. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio and the garden through five French doors. The room also has four windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe.
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is professional-grade, equipped with a eight-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other small appliances. The kitchen has a window, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements).
