Villa Privata is a charming two-story age-old farm house surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps 15 people. From Villa Privata you will enjoy a thrilling view of the hills of Val D'Orcia and of the surrounding countryside. Villa Privata is 500 square meters (5380 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 7 km (4.3 miles) from Pienza, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will reach Villa Privata from the parking area going down a short route that cuts through the garden and includes approximately four stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Privata you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. Please note that access to Villa Privata is along a 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) unpaved road.
The swimming pool is 4 meters (13 feet) large by 24 meters (79 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff), has a whirlpool corner and has a cervical hydromassage shower. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas and sun loungers, and it is partly shaded by a characteristic porch made of stone. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery and of the hills. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the swimming pool area.
The first living room is paved with ancient terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are warm and elegant. The furnishings include three sofas. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has two windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
You will be able to enter the first kitchen from the dining room through a brickwork arched opening. It is equipped with a nine-burner gas cooker, two electric ovens, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. There is also a small wood-fired pizza oven. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the patio and the garden. The room also has a window.
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room also has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, decorated with majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a large fully-enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
