Liscia, San Donato in Poggio

Liscia is a characteristic and welcoming two-story apartment that covers the entire top floor of a villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps seven people. From Liscia you will enjoy a marvelous view of the Tuscan hills and of the vineyards. Liscia is 150 square meters (1615 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a nice private terrace, a shared garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from the medieval hamlet of San Donato in Poggio, where you will find restaurants and a grocery store.

Liscia is located on the first floor. You will reach it from the garden going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 20 steps.

To stay at Liscia you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, in a parking lot. Please note that access to Liscia is along an 800-meter (half-a-mile) unpaved road.

The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the entrance hall. It is partly shaded by a wood roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a nice view of the Tuscan countryside and of the hills.

The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are rural and characteristic of the Tuscan house, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include sofas. There is an age-old and impressive fireplace. The room has a window with a view of the countryside.

You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room through a brickwork arched opening. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The dining table can accommodate seven guests. In this room you will find a grand piano, for decorative purposes only. The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the hills.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through a French door. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a toaster. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The kitchen has a window with a view of the greenery.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the second bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a wrought iron matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has two windows with a view of the greenery. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

Important notice: members of your party will need to walk through this bedroom to reach the first bedroom. You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the first bedroom and from the living room. It has a wooden single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The furnishings include two armchairs and a desk. The room has a window with a view of the garden.

You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the kitchen through an access area. The bedroom has a traditional wooden matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the greenery.

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the kitchen through an access area.
