Whale and Dolphin Watching Excursions

Get up-close to marine mammals on a boat excursion to watch whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. The trained specialists at Progetto Natura Sardegna operate in a sensitive and environmentally conscious manner in respect of the animals while allowing for an unusual and exciting experience. On board, they will determine the location of the mammals and draw near in a way to not frighten or disturb them. Using photo-identification techniques, you'll learn about the sex, age and health of the animals, while with bio-acoustic instruments you'll get to hear their voices, and hear how dolphins communicate with each other.

Afterwards, they'll take you to a secluded cove with pristine water where you can jump in and swim, and the snorkel gear they provide reveals schools of colorful fish. They'll provided a snack of local products along the way.

Tours last four hours and are available either in the morning or the afternoon. Sunset cruises can be organized as well.
