A working water mill that dates to 1630 makes for a delightful outing. Using the water from the Lierza stream at the foot of a waterfall, the mill was used for centuries to grind grain. It was closed in 1953. At the end of the century, it was acquired by the town of Refrontolo and restored, and put back into operation. Today you can tour the mill's museum and actually see it in operation!

The Molinetto della Croda also features an art exhibit and in the winter months it hosts a lovely international display of nativity scenes.

Take a walk along the paths, enjoy the gurgle of the stream water, the waterfall, and the picnic tables for a day of outdoor fun.

The mill is open year-round. Hours: Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30 PM til 6:00 PM. On Sundays from 10:30 AM til 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM til 6:00 PM.
