Vicari Winery Morro d'Alba

Marche is known for its high quality wines and Morro d'Alba is a town that has a vintage named after it - Lacrima di Morro d'Alba. Sample the wine at the source at this lovely tasting room amidst the vineyards just below the town. Vicari has been producing wine here for generations and have won several prestigious awards. They utilize the two primary grapes of this zone - Lacrima (red) and Verdicchio (white). There are several choices in the Lacrima with differing ages, along with dessert wine and the nice regional after dinner wine called vino di visciole (tart cherries). Welcoming place where you can sample, enjoy a glass amidst the vines and buy some to take home.

Tasting room is open from 8:30 AM til 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM til 7:30 PM.
