Trattoria La Grotta

A tiny place tucked into a volcanic grotto serving seafood. It's a cozy trattoria with friendly service that prepares only the fresh catch of the day, so you never know what will be offered (but it will always be good!) It's located at the little port in the Santa Maria La Scala section of Acireale, so the fishermen bring in the haul and it goes straight to the kitchen. La Grotta gets rave reviews from locals and visitors alike.

Reservations highly recommended as it is very small and tables fill up fast. There are some outdoor tables in the summer.
