The tall crenellated tower defines Recanati's skyline and is a symbol of the city. The Ghibelline style 36-meter (118 feet) high tower was built in the second half of the 12th century. There is also a museum laid out on its seven levels that recount the history of Recanati. It culminates at the top, with breathtaking panoramas over the entire territory -just like the medieval builders intended, only instead of looking for invaders, you can enjoy the countryside views that stretch from the Sibilline Mountaiins across the patchwork hills to the Adriatic Sea!

The museum is part of the Recanati Museums pass card.
