Thermal Park of Villa dei Cedri

At the historic Villa dei Cedri is a grand garden and a thermal spa. The formal gardens are interspersed with woods and were laid out in the 1700s, including two small lakes. Today, the lakes are filled with natural hot spring water, thanks to an accidental discovery. When they went looking for underground water to maintain the plants, they discovered the presence of this mineral-rich spring and the spa was born.

There are little 'tubs' constructed within the ponds to keep water hotter in certain contained spots for relaxing soaks, while a spring fountain sprays upward and splashed cooling mist down into the middle of the lake. There is a grotto with hydromassage jets, where the enclosed space keeps the mineral steam for inhaling. Other pools and tubs are available, both indoor and outdoor.
