Taormina Film Festival

The annual star-filled fest is held in the dramatic setting of the Antico Teatro. Taormina pulls out all the stops when it rolls out the red carpet for the many directors, actors, producers and distributors who show up for the yearly meet-up.

The festival has been an important venue for 60 years, with meetings and showings. It has been noted as a place for test screenings. The 2013 edition included Russell Crowe, Gigi Proietti, Jeremy Irons, Enrico Brignano, Marisa Tomei and Eva Herzigova, to name a few of the big names that attended.

The Taormina Film Festival takes place annually in June in the stunning Greek Theater.
