Spiaggia Praiola Beach

The Praiola Beach near Giarre is a beach made up of volcanic stones, less rocky reef and more "beach-like" than most of the seafront of this area of magma flows. The volcanic tuff landscape makes it an interesting and picturesque coastline, however. It is part of the municipality of Riposto.

Here the blue sea is crystal-clear. The Praiola beach is found near Riposto and is sign-posted. It is located between Acireale and Taormina, turning off the SP2 toward Praiola.
