Sovareto Beach

A pretty cove of fine sand, the beach of Sovareto is frequently named among the most beautiful in Sicily (at least in the Agrigento area). Brilliant sun lasts all day, and crystal-clear water is kept calm by break walls that block the waves, making this popular for families with kids.

Sovareto is easy to reach by car and the cove is backed by flora that includes Mediterranean brush, olive trees, agave plants and cactus. The beach has nice surroundings and views, tucked into its little bay. There are reefs and rocks at one of the point to add interest and snorkeling opportunities.

There is a bar for snacks, and bathrooms available; and a concession that rents umbrellas and sun beds, or you can enjoy the free-access beach.
