An enchanting garden in the heart of Chiavari, the Parco Botanico di Villa Rocca is the city's beloved green space. The Rocca family, Chiavari natives who found success in Argentina, returned and purchased the palazzo in 1903. The garden was added a few years later with a trail leading through different levels, offering views of the city and sea.

The Parco Botanico contains rare species from South America mixed with fragrant flowers and exotic plants. There is an artificial grotto and a "temple dedicated to music" and a tea room with frescoed ceilings. There are small woods, playful water fountains and decorative iron work to admire along the way.

The Botanic Park of Villa Rocca in Chiavari is open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM - April through September. In the winter months it is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The admission cost is just €1.
