Ristorante La Vecchia Posta

La Vecchia Posta is a lovely restaurant in the medieval town of Trevi. It's located right on the piazza at the top of town, in (appropriately) the old post office building. They serve Umbrian specialties in a warm setting. Dishes like thick pappardelle noodles with wild boar sauce (incredible!), stuffed pasta known as cappelletti with truffles, roasted meats, and forest mushrooms figure heavily on the regional fare. Everything is presented with flair. There are some tables out on the piazza for summer dining. The meals are memorable and Trevi is a fantastic village to visit.
