Ristorante Erasmo

In Ponte a Moriano, this is an historic restaurant along the Serchio River. It has been serving homemade fare for more than 200 years, continually in the hands of the Marcucci family. There is a nice garden for outdoor dining along with a warm and sunny interior dining room. Another room has a cozy fireplace. The restaurant is listed on the register of historic places.

They serve fresh, seasonal dishes according to time-honored Tuscan recipes. There is always hand-made pasta to enjoy; sometimes there is trout from the river or tender local lamb. In the fall you can enjoy the bounty of the woodsy porcini mushrooms.

Open for lunch and dinner. Closed Mondays and Tuesday evenings.
