Ristorante Enzo a Mare

One of Sicily's famous restaurants, notable for its food (of course) but also as its place in the Inspector Montalbano series of TV mysteries. The show frequently has its protagonist, Commissario Montalbano, dining here, just down the street from his beach-front house. While it may be the film scenes that draw folks, it is definitely the food that satisfies them, and Enzo a Mare turns out excellent fare. Whether its the pasta with fresh sardine, spaghetti with clams, grilled octopus or seared fresh tuna, the meal and its waterfront setting are top notch.
