Restaurant Il Vero Alfredo

Il Vero Alfredo's the historical Roman restaurant where you can eat the famous Alfredo’s fettuccine. This special pasta's internationally known since the 20's, when the popular couple of American actors, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, after eating the mythic dish, gave a golden fork and spoon as a present to Alfredo.

In addition to the famous Fettuccine, the menu offers various dishes of the traditional Roman cuisine. You can taste something like tonnarelli cacio e pepe, bucatini all’amatriciana or the real carbonara but also delicate and lighter food like turkey fillet or veal escalope with asparagus, fresh fish, to finish with delicious home-made desserts.
