Poggioreale Street Market

Naples is known for colorful markets where vendors yell out their goods and prices to attract shoppers. One of the more famous is the Poggioreale Market, which is often referred to as "Shoe Alley" because of the abundance of footwear on sale. If you're a shoe fanatic, this is the place for you! They have everything from high quality leather to the cheaper imported duds. Clothing and housewares are found at the various stalls, as well.

It's outside the center of town; you can get there by taking Tram 1 or Bus 170 from the main station.
