Parco Giardino Sigurta Park

Parco Giardino Sigurta' di Valeggio is a gorgeous garden that was named the most beautiful in Italy and also heralded as the second most beautiful in Europe. This is more than a mere park. You'll find a well-planned garden with ponds and lawns, a hedge labyrinth, and a neo-gothic castle. A kilometer-long rose-lined walkway and a profusion of blooms are delight visitors. In the spring there is an explosion of color from the million tulips planted from Holland and Turkey.

The park looks like a fairytale setting with its lawns and castle tower peeking above the trees. It is easily accessible and visitable with various options available. Of course, you can wander all over on foot. Or you can go around on bicycle. Or maybe you and the kids prefer the little tram or a golf cart. You can bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawn. There are special events and kids workshops for learning about plants.

The Sigurta' Garden is open from March through November, from 9:00 AM til 7:00 PM (until 6:00 PM in March, October and November).
