Off the nicely-named Via dell'Amore are some fine sandy beaches that allow you to enjoy the day full of sunshine, the lapping of waves, and cooling clear water. There are expanses of free beaches that you can access -just bring your own umbrella, blankets, and accessories. Or, at either end of the street are two lido establishments that will rent umbrellas and sunbeds, provide changing cabins, snacks and food, drinks, and showers. It's up to you! You can certainly use the free beach and then make use of the bars and facilities at the lidos, as well. (They are Lido Internazionale and Lido Marilena. Others are located in the vicinity.)

if you want a long walk on the sand, this is a good place as the beach extends for miles, some parts of it are backed by umbrella pines.
