Osteria Tancredi

In the tiny stone town of Caselle in Pittari, the Osteria Tancredi is worth the trip. It is considered one of the best and most authentic restaurants in the Cilento. They use exclusively local ingredients, most of them coming from their own farm, including the wine.

The charming stone building is in the historic heart of Caselle, a cozy dining room offers warm ambiance inside while a panoramic balcony has some tables for outside dining. They prepare simple, time-honored recipes that use nature's bounty to make excellent dishes.

Closed Mondays. Open for lunch and dinner Friday through Sunday. Open only for dinner Tuesday through Thursday. Reservations highly recommended.
