Osteria Bacicio

A small, simple place in the main shopping street of Portovenere. Don't let the vague and kitchy pirate theme put you off; they're serious about the food they serve! Part bar and part osteria (homey restaurant) you can have a full meal or just a glass of wine and munchies if you'd like.

The fish is fresh and flavorfully prepared. Try the gnocchi with crab or the spaghetti with mussels; the mixed fry for a main course is notable. Desserts are made in house.

Welcoming and cozy, it fills up fast so reservations are highly recommended if you want to dine. You can stand at the bar for an aperitivo and stuzzichini (snacks).
