Osteria Angolo Masuccio

A miniscule restaurant in Salerno, this corner location in the historic center has seating only for 20 people. It's so small the kitchen is upstairs! But they manage to cook up excellent regional dishes, with friendly service. The menu changes daily based on what's fresh, and they offer only a few dishes in each course, to keep the quality of everything very high. Regional wines compliment the meals. It's in the little alley-streets of the historic center, just a few steps from the Lungomare.

Reservations are recommended if you want to snag some of the few coveted seats! The restaurant gets rave reviews from locals, and has a good quality-price ratio, too. In the summer, the seating doubles in size when they put tables outside on the street.
