Mount Baldo Cable Car

For the best view of Lake Garda take the cablecar to the peak of Mount Baldo. From the lofty height of 1800 meters above sea level (5900 feet) you can see the entirety of the lake on a clear day, from end to end, along with the undulations, peaks and topography of the surrounding mountains. You'll notice how castles and towns are cradled in the hills and set along the lake shore.

The cable car itself offers beautiful views as it transports you uphill. As it nears the top it rotates 360 degrees to allow for breathtaking panoramas for everyone inside and give you the sensation that you're soaring with the birds. At the top, you'll be able to bike, hike or hang glide if you're adventurous! There are some restaurants and snack bars scattered around Mt. Baldo, or you can bring a picnic to enjoy in the quiet solitude.

The Lake Garda cable car is definitely worth a visit for the experience and the views.
