Montelungo Beach

At Gela below a scrub-covered hill, the sandy beach of Montelungo is reached by a dirt path through the Montelungo Park. It is just west of the frazione of Macchitella. There are no services and because it is beyond the town there are fewer crowds.

The beach is sandy, the water starts shallow with sandy bottom and deepens gradually. You also just might spot a sea turtle here!
