Lido Karibu' Pioppi

At the southern tip of Via Corrado, the lungomare street, you'll find this "lido" with beach services for an enjoyable and relaxing day. Pioppi has a really nice beach of pebbles and sand, beautiful views, and a low-key fishing village atmosphere. It really only gets crowded in August. If you want a carefree day, hire an umbrella with chairs so you don't have to bring anything but your towel and swimsuit. You'll find a restaurant, snack bar, coffee/drink bar, water toys, kayak rentals and basically everything you need for a day of fun and sun. Water is clear and deepens gradually. There are rock breakwalls to help keep it calm and safe for young ones. The lovely seafront walk is lined with trees.
