Tiny Leccio is a frazione hamlet of nearby Reggello, but it brings in big crowds for its luxury outlet center. It is located along the Burro di Leccio stream, a tributary of the Arno River. Leccio is a type of oak tree.

Sitting in a green valley, the area is studded with classic stone farmhouses, cypress trees, and wood-covered hills. It is only 40 minutes from Florence, and the same time distance from Arezzo. It is near Chianti, and is between the towns of Rignano sull'Arno and Figline e Incisa Valdarno.

The village is small but there are services you'll need like a fruit and vegetable shop, a small supermarket, a cafe, pharmacy, and butcher.

Just outside town is the colorful and unusual Moorish style Castello Sammezzano.

What really draws people -tourists and locals from cities like Florence, though, is the luxury outlet mall, with high-end designer brands like Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Hugo Boss, and more.
