La Bottega del Vino Wine Shop

This wine shop in Monopoli is a great find for those who want to try one of the many regional vintages or a craft beer. They have labels from around Puglia and around Italy -both beer and wine as well as some of the area's liqueurs and grappas, too. One of the great features is the vino sfuso -vats from which you can buy "loose wine" at a low price per liter (the catch is that you have to bring your own bottles to fill up).

They offer tastings, and some special evenings, such as the vino novello and chestnuts in November, "guided" beer tastings, and more. Local food products are for sale, as well.
