International Naval Museum Imperia

In Imperia, a museum dedicated to sea-faring is fun for kids and informative for adults, too. With a collection that includes instruments, equipment, uniforms and paintings, there is much to see. Some areas are devoted to ocean sailing (with sails, not motors!), there are charts, models, and displays, all well done and laid out nicely.

Opening hours are quirky, but generally it is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 3:30 PM til 7:00 PM. Be sure to check in advance, though!
