Il Fungo Beach

In the heart of Lacco Ameno next to the marina, you can't miss the rock landmark that looks like a giant mushroom. That's where you'll find a pleasant beach known simply as Il Fungo (Italian for mushroom). Fine sand along a narrow strip of beach which widens in two spots, where you'll find beach concessions that rent umbrellas and sun beds. There are cafes and restaurants and it is right across from the shops and businesses of the town, so is easily accessible and well served.
