I Due Fratelli Beach
The beach known as I Due Fratelli (the two brothers) is a small beach at the marina of Vietri sul Mare. It wasreshaped after the big 1954 flood. Nowadays, it's just close to the two huge retaining walls built after the catastrophe. In the front area the beach is full of little pebbles, while there is plenty of sand to stretch out on in the back section. The beach of "I Due Fratelli" is about 70 meters long and allows bathers to enjoy a lovely sight of the two jutting rocks which gave the beach its name. It is called "the two brothers" because the twin rocks represent two brothers of an ancient local legend, telling about the death of two young warriors.
It's the ideal place to rest and have a quick and easy access to the sea, avoiding the big and crowded beaches of the Marina.
