Part archeology museum and part gladiator homage, this museum is located next to the enormous amphitheater of Capua. Artifacts from the coloseum include busts, keystones, columns and capitals, and other decorative elements from the once-prestigious amphitheater. There are helmets and swords that belonged to gladiators and informative exhibits about the important gladiator school that was founded in Capua. It was in this amphiteater that Spartacus distinguished himself and it was here that he launched his famous slave revolt against the empire.

The museum also displays dioramas and models of what the coloseum looked like during its peak of grandeur.

Open from 9:00 AM til 1:30 PM. Closed Mondays.
