Fontane Bianche Beach

The beach of Fontane Bianche is a user-friendly place that is popular with families. The name, "white fountains", indicated the presence of natural springs in the area. It is an arched bay that is backed by a low hills and Mediterranean vegetation. With a couple of kilometers of fine white sand, it's not only extensive but lovely, with crystal-clear blue water. There are services and comforts available, with concessions that rent umbrellas and sun beds, restaurants, snack bars and water sports equipment.

The Fontane Bianche beach is located north of Avola and south of Siracusa. Sunsets are spectacular from here! At night you can dance under the stars when some of the beach-front discos come to life. There is ample parking and several areas to choose from, including some free beach for those who prefer to throw down a towel on a sand instead of renting an umbrella.
