Fondachello Beach

Considered among the most beaches in eastern Sicily, at Fondachello you'll find three kilometers of pebble beach and clear water. It is also very popular (and therefore crowded) in the summer months, but with its length you should be able to find some open patches to spread out and enjoy the day. There are numerous lido concessions that rent umbrellas and sun beds and provide services (snack bars, restaurants, rest rooms, showers, etc), along with free tracts where you spread you blanket on the sand-pebble mix.

The water gets gradually deeper and is clear and dazzling. Facing the beach is the lungomare, where shops, bars, cafes and mini-markets provide everything you need for a fun day at the seaside.
