Fiumefreddo Beaches

It isn't hard to find the beach at Fiumefreddo Sicilia - the long coastline is easily accessible. The beach offers vast tracts of free and open access, interspersed with a few concessions that rent umbrellas and sun beds and offer services and meals.

The beach is mostly shale and pebbles, with clear water lapping at the shore (sometimes pounding it, depending on the winds). The water is intensely blue. It is colder water due to the presence of the river spilling out (Fiumefreddo means "cold river").
