Ferrari Museum
The futuristic sleek yellow roofline tells you that this is no ordinary museum. Located in Modena at the site of Enzo Ferrari's automobile shop, the Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum displays the famous motor-maker's history through its founding in 1898 to the present. The yellow shell-like roof is a reflection of the background of the company's famous logo, while the fiery red machines that define style and speed are housed below it.
Apart from the chronology of the Ferrari line itself, the museum also recounts the story of Modena as the center of prestigious sports cars, including Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Pagani. It includes a fun F1 simulator so you pretend to be a racer yourself.
The exhibits include a history of Enzo Ferrari and his officina meccanica (mechanic shop), that started here. It displays his life from child to pilot to racer to manager and manufacturer. In all, it gives an indepth view of the company, the cars, and the city where it all became a reality.
