See the silent woods and tranquil trails of Mt. Etna from a different perspective -on a donkey!. The Etna Donkey Treks take you on itineraries to see the famous volcano indepth and at the right pace. There are several itineraries to choose from, that range from a few hours to a few days. You can choose an all-day outing, or an overnight trek where you hike in and spend the night in a secluded "rifugio" back-country cabin, while your gear and food are carried by the donkey. Or, ride the docile domesticated donkeys for a day of fun and wonder.

The professional and caring staff will arrange it all for you, including the rifugio stays. They also do an interesting winter outing from Linguaglossa, with a couple of hours to enjoy the crisp air and maybe even find snow!

They are located at Linguaglossa on the road toward Etna Nord, direction of Monte Conca, Mt Etna's northern ski resort, and Piazzale Piano in Linguaglossa.
