Coral Museum

Located in Villa Costantino, a few steps from Piazza Sulis, is a small museum dedicated to coral. The marine structures are linked to Alghero's commerce and traditions for centuries. Within the Liberty-style villa are displays that include a voyage into the Mediterranean's ecosystem, how the "red gold" is harvested and how it is worked to create jewelry and other artisan craft items. There are videos, historic photographs, and examples of coral art.

The museum is open from 10: 30 AM til 1:00 PM, and from 5:30 PM til 8:00 PM. Closed Mondays.
