Castel Romano Outlets

For a shopping mall in the vicinity of Rome, look toward the south to the Castel Romano Outlet. Designers such as Furla, Michael Kors, Spada, Valentino and Bruno Magli are represented (at outlet prices!), with dozens of other brands filling the sprawling space of the open-air mall. The palm-studded walkways and piazzas are also used for events and concerts. There are cafes and restaurants, and a children's play area, too.

The Castel Romano Outlets are located off Via Pontina, south of Rome. It is near Ostia, situated between Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. There is a shuttle bus that runs from Roma Termini train station three times a day, and another that does a circuit of 6 hotels in Ostia to arrive at the outlet mall. The shops are open from 10:00 AM til 8:00 PM daily.
