Casal Velino Beaches

The seaside marina town of Casal Velino has one kilometer of golden sand beaches, easily accessible from the waterfront road. There are large swaths of free access beach along with serviced beaches that rent umbrellas and sun beds, along with games and other services. The village has shops and restaurants, bars and gelaterias, so you can buy a picnic lunch, buy sun cream, have a seafood meal, get a creamy cooling gelato or an apertivo while the sun sets. The beach is protected by rock break walls interspersed along the shore, giving a gradual deepening to the water, ideal for families with children. Those wanting more "wild" beach with deeper water can go just north of the port along the road, where the landscape gets hilly, where there are paths that lead down to the coves, such as Dominella.
