Capaccio Scalo, is a township of the municipality of Capaccio, Salerno province. The town develops in a flat area at approximately 22 meters above sea level among the villages Rettifilo/Vannulo, Cafasso/Borgo Nuovo, Laura and Highway 18 (Strada Statale 18).

Built in recent times, the village has no historically interesting buildings. As a result of its urban development, Capaccio Scalo has become the economic center of the commune, also considering its proximity to the archaeological site of Paestum. In addition to the presence of numerous businesses, Capaccio Scalo has a railway station on Railway Tirrenica Meridionale.
