Cala Rossa Beach

A lovely beach right in town in Ortigia, the Cala Rossa is free and open to all. While some beaches have payed access, this one is free. It is small so get there early to claim your patch. The best sun is in the morning til early afternoon.

It is a pebble beach; there are rocks in the water that create shallow pools, beyond them is deeper water.

It is on Via Lungomare di Ortigia, reached by a staircase leading down from the street (found across from the Ristorante Colapesce.)
